Roundtable meeting on “Post 3rd Plenum Impacts on Production Conditions and Market Access”

On 11 March 2014, the Sino-German Quality Infrastructure (QI) Project has invited to a roundtable meeting with industry experts on “Post 3rd Plenum Impacts on Production Conditions and Market Access”.
The roundtable has served as a kick-off event a planned study that will contain in-depth analysis regarding relevant policy shifts and impacts on German companies doing business in China or planning long-term market entry.
Mr. Hatto Mattes (Head of Division, BMWi) opened the roundtable meeting. International senior executives of German and European manufacturing companies and industry associations were invited to join the expert discussions related to quality infrastructure.
The results of the roundtable discussions will be considered for the further design and selection of study parameters for the study.
For better capturing the views and demands of German companies across China, more industry roundtables are planned to follow in different Chinese regions with local German and European industry representatives. Additionally, a China-wide survey and in-person interviews will be conducted and complement the findings.
