International Seminar of Labeling and Certification System Building of China Green Product Certification

On 30 June 2016, Ms. Dr. Ines Oehme from the German Federal Environmental Agency (UBA) presented at a conference on the development of the new eco-labeling and certification-system “China Green Product Certification” in Hangzhou. The event was organized by the China Standard Certification Center (CSC) and chaired by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of PRC (CNCA) which presented the first draft of the new eco-label for commenting. The new scheme aims at uniting the current fragmented landscape of Chinese eco-labels. Participants included Mr. Henning Scholtz, an expert on the German Blue Angel, German TICs as well as over 200 public Chinese officials who are currently developing the new scheme.
