The Federation of German Industries (BDI) has announced the suspension of the 38th German-Brazilian Business Days (DBWT), previously scheduled to take place from August 26th-28th, 2020 in Munich. The annual conference is organized by the BDI and its Brazilian partner association CNI and the main purpose of this event is to strengthen the bilateral relationship and the strategic partnership between both countries. As such, it gathers governmental authorities and relevant private stakeholders. As their will be no replacement date for 2020, the next DBWT will only take place in 2021 - then again in Brazil, in Salvador, state of Bahia.

Traditionally, the Annual Meeting of the Brazilian-German Working Group Quality Infrastructure takes place back-to-back to the Brazilian-German Economic Meeting. With the cancellation of the DBWT 2020, GPQI together with BMWi and the Brazilian Ministry for Economy (ME) is now analyzing alternative scenarios for holding the Annual Meeting 2020. Once available, the alternative date and place for the German-Brazilian Annual Meeting on QI 2020 will be published on this homepage.
