BAM-CCAI Cooperation Workshop in the Area of Conformity Assessment and Accreditation in Berlin

On the 25th of October, the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung  hosted the BAM-CCAI Expert Workshop on Sino-German Cooperation in the area of Conformity Assessment and Accreditation in Berlin. Mr. Wang Yu and Ms. Wang Ruobing from China Certification and Accreditation Institute (CCAI) attended this meeting. Both German and Chinese sides presented their recent studies and discussed on the potential areas for joint research cooperation.  The Sino-German Quality Infrastructure Project, implemented by GIZ on behalf of BMWi moderated the discussion.

Both sides show interests in a future joint-research on the topic of the influence of conformity assessment and accreditation on the national economy. They agreed that personnel exchange will be a key form of future cooperation. CCAI also invited BAM for another deeper expert exchange in China. This is the second expert workshop between BAM and CCAI on the topic.
