Virtual Workshop on Industrial Security for Industrie 4.0 in Indonesia

The workshop on “Industrial Security for Industrie 4.0 in Indonesia: Introducing the IEC 62443 series of standards” will take place on 24 November 2021 08:00-10:00 (UTC +1) / 14:00-16:00 (WIB). It is part of the activities under the project line Industrial Security in the context of digitalisation and Industrie 4.0 of the Work Plan for the German-Indonesian Dialogue on Quality Infrastructure signed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Indonesian Ministry of Industry (MoI).

This online workshop will focus on standards for industrial security and showcase the vulnerability of the industrial machineries in case the security is not in place, with a live simulation. Experts will present how German and Indonesian companies are implementing the industrial security as well as its importance and benefits for them. Participants will get more information regarding the importance of standardization for industrial security in Germany and Indonesian future policy direction in this area, through remarks by BMWi and MoI.

Simultaneous translation from English to Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa will be provided.
