The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie - BMWi) engages in bilateral dialogues on quality infrastructure with Chinese partner ministries. The cooperation enables German businesses to find solutions to technical barriers to market access and to make better use of opportunities in the Chinese market. The cooperation also addresses directly with relevant Chinese partners challenges for market surveillance, consumer protection and fair competition posed by non-compliant and unsafe products entering the European Union market.

 

German companies, associations and QI institutions are cordially invited to attend and actively participate in a virtual Topic Consultation and Preparatory Meeting on 30 September 2021, from 9am to 11am (Berlin time) / 3pm to 5pm (Beijing time). The preparatory session under the auspices of BMWi will form the basis for further political and technical discussions with the Chinese partners. The event will be held in German and English. Separate thematic breakout rooms will be set up. Consecutive participation in several breakout rooms is possible.

Answering of the following questions is voluntary and not required for registration. You may choose several answers (regarding the breakout rooms, please a maximum of three only).

2. Would you like to suggest any topics that your institution is currently facing which could be addressed by the Sino-German Dialogues? Should further thematic breakout rooms be established?
