Standards drive innovation in Industrie 4.0
China
Dialogue matters
Open markets and globally harmonised standards for Industrie 4.0 (I4.0) are a basic prerequisite for cross-border digitalised value chains. With the support of GPQI, the two countries have aligned their national reference architecture models. These are three-dimensional maps offering guidance and a structured approach to standardisation in Industrie 4.0. As a result, it is now possible to compare numerous individual standards, including those on administration shells, digital twins, artificial intelligence and IT security.
